Our Generation Inc. has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the following websites of Our Generation:

Personal Information

Our Generation, Inc. believes that personal information is just that: personal. Our Generation is committed to protecting the information that it receives from you. OUR GENERATION’s policy concerning the collection, use and dissemination of personal information is as follows:

OUR GENERATION’s first priority is that any nonpublic personal information requested of you will be gathered if you give it to OUR GENERATION voluntarily, or allow OUR GENERATION to gather it. Any nonpublic personal information we request of you will be the minimum needed to accomplish OUR GENERATION’s mission, and will be disseminated only as set forth in this document. Our site’s registration forms require users to give us contact information (like your name and e-mail address) and financial information (like your credit card number). We use the contact information from the registration forms to send you information about our organization and various public policy issues through periodic e-mails. Your contact information may also be used to contact you if necessary. Financial information that is collected is used to process contributions.

To maintain and improve the quality of OUR GENERATION’s services and programs, we generally request demographic information. Unless you voluntarily identify yourself, OUR GENERATION will not know who you are. The type of information we will request includes such items as your name, title, and business address, telephone number and e-mail address. We will not request any other identifying information, such as social security or driver’s license numbers. To ensure the accuracy of the information, you have the right to request a copy or to review any information that we collect from you. If you want to remain completely anonymous, you are still free to take advantage of certain OUR GENERATION services and programs.

OUR GENERATION gathers information from two major sources: (1) information supplied by users of OUR GENERATION services, and (2) tracking information gathered from OUR GENERATION web visitors.

OUR GENERATION is committed to restricting access to any information gathered by OUR GENERATION being given to employees and program contractors. OUR GENERATION may, at the request of partners who participate in OUR GENERATION’s educational programs, disclose non-public information concerning the participants in the program. Such disclosure will be restricted, however, to disclosing the least amount of non-public information practicable, to ensure maximum privacy of the participants in the program.

WE WILL NOT DISCLOSE ANY NONPUBLIC INFORMATION ABOUT YOU WITH ANYONE FOR ANY PURPOSE THAT IS NOT PERMITTED BY LAW. While we strive to protect the confidentiality of the information gathered, we may be required to disclose contact and other information in order to comply with certain lawful orders of courts or governmental agencies. However, to safeguard your privacy OUR GENERATION WILL NOT share this information voluntarily with any government agency or entity. We will maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to guard your nonpublic personal information for 7 years, after which time we will destroy the records.
